Community News (Fair Lawn Edition)

Fair Lawn Police Sgt. Richard Schultz speaks to students at Lyncrest School during an anti-bullying assembly on Feb. 11. The officer discussed the dangers of bullying with special attention to cyber bullying.

 
Councilmember Jeanne Baratta and Deputy Mayor Lisa Swain attend the largest Fair Lawn Junior Police Academy to date. PBA Member Derek Bastinck welcomes them to the ceremony!

  Members of PBA Local 67 bring Fair Lawn Police Explorers to Statewide Law Enforcement Explorer Academy at Monmouth University. Members spent the entire week at Monmouth University instructing the explorers and volunteered hundreds of hours so that the young adults would benefit from this unique program!  The pictures below show the academy graduates along with Explorer Vela accepting his award for 1st place in Physical Training.  Explorer Leanne Biss (not pictured) won 3rd place in Physical Training! Great job Explorers! Good work PBA Members for taking care of our community!

2010 Police Unity Tour..  Fair Lawn PBA Members Rich Schultz and Anthony Lugo rode from NJ to Washington DC as part of the Police Unity Tour in memory of Police Officers that have paid the ultimate price while protecting the citizens they were sworn to protect.
