Laid Off Fair Lawn Officer hired by the Morristown Police

January 2, 2011

On behalf of the members of Fair Lawn PBA Local 67, President David Boone is pleased to announce that Robert Iozzia, a three year veteran of the Fair Lawn Police Department laid off on September 1, 2010 was recently sworn in to the Morristown Police Department at an informal ceremony.

Rob, an Iraqi War Veteran and lifelong resident
of Fair Lawn will clearly be missed and will undoubtedly
be a welcomed asset to Morristown!

Boone said; "Rob was such a great fit for Fair Lawn. He connected with the community, especially the younger residents and will be sorely missed. Morristown has made such a smart choice to hire this young man. Their governing body clearly respect a war veteran's commitment to
honor and service."
